Job summary

Five Below Inc. is seeking a store leader to drive customer experience and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment in Virginia. You will supervise crew, oversee daily tasks, and act as Manager on Duty to ensure smooth opening, closing, and guest service.

The role emphasizes training, merchandising collaboration, and expense control while maintaining safety and compliance. A minimum 1 year of management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent; College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized under pressure.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving are valued.

Responsibilities

• Wowing customers through personal contact and service.
• Train crew on best-in-class customer service and checkout efficiency.
• Oversee daily store activities and ensure stellar guest experiences.
• Assist with receipt, unpacking and stock organization on the floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty with responsibility for operations and staff.
• Open/close the store, manage cash, security and daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and recovery strategies.
• Perform maintenance and keep stockroom and floors clean and stocked.
