Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Lane & South Coast Counties & Alaska is seeking a Store Supervisor to assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, supervise sales staff, handle inventories, reconcile cash, and ensure donor processing and excellent customer service. You will train staff, plan work schedules, open and close the store, and maintain safe, compliant work areas.

Requires at least one year of supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification or ability to obtain it,

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification or ability to become CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Assists Store Manager with store operations including supervision of employees engaged in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, and preparing daily record of transactions.
• Responsible for the store’s operation in the Store Manager’s absence; including directing activities of store personnel and ensuring all sales are rung up and donor goods processed.
• Performs cashier and processing duties as needed.
• Follows customer service guidelines to provide excellent service to customers, donors, and employees.
• Coaches and trains staff to meet agency expectations.
• Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to duties.
• Coordinates with production leads to maintain adequate supplies.
• Operates opening/closing procedures and maintains store safety.
