Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Lane & South Coast Counties & Alaska seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of the store’s operation, including donation intake, processing, sales, personnel management and loss prevention.

The role requires ensuring customer service, adherence to policies, safety training and assisting in budget attainment while achieving monthly production and sales goals. Weekend and evening hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ work experience in a managerial role in a retail environment.
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a current valid Oregon Driver License and insurable driving record; CPR/First Aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of donations and merchandise flow; maximize efficiency and meet production goals.
• Drive sales through proper display, pricing, rotation, and signage.
• Hire, train and supervise store personnel; manage budgets and safety compliance.
