Job summary

Lids Sports Group seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Springfield, IL to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You're responsible for training and motivating the team, scheduling, merchandising, cash handling, and protecting store assets while upholding brand standards and policy. This part-time role offers growth in a leading retailer, with pay starting at $16 per hour and potential raises based on performance.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Manage store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver customer service.
• Ensure proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Maintain store technology and equipment and conduct daily audits.
• Open and close the store following Operations procedures.
• Protect company assets and manage inventory backroom.
