Lids Sports Group is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Schaumburg, IL. The role focuses on leading store operations, coaching staff, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced sports retail environment.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and adherence to policies while ensuring a positive shopping experience and visual merchandising standards. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling, customer issues, and escalation when Store Manager is unavailable.
• Lead and train associates through LIDS Training Programs and set sales/tasks goals.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and adherence to policies; support recruitment and training of store personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company dress code and brand standards; maintain store discipline and inventory controls.
• Execute merchandising, pricing, and VM changes; safeguard assets and perform cash handling duties.
• Open/close the store and prepare for inventories; support POS and backroom operations.
