Lids in Rockford, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, supervise staff, manage schedules, and uphold exceptional customer service standards.

You will drive sales, ensure compliance with company policies, and support training programs while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive store environment. This full-time role offers competitive wages and growth opportunities within a national retailer.

Formación

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team by creating a fun and productive environment and aligning work with company objectives.
• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive team and adherence to Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates for unexpected peaks.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel.
• Encourage compliance with policy, safeguard inventory, funds and property.
• Open and close the store following standards.
• Lead selling strategies to hit KPIs, drive sales, and deliver customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and address issues in the moment to “make it right.”
• Encourage participation in membership programs and in-store offers.
• Adhere to merchandising guidelines and store cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance per Dress Code.
• Execute operations directives, maintain safety, and repair as needed.
• Manage cash openings/closings and bank drops.
• Prepare store for inventory and support audits.
• Protect assets and manage backroom organization for efficiency.
• Implement layout and visual merchandising adjustments.
