Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager, you will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, complete deposits, and handle stocking, cashiering, and related duties to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will support scheduling, training, safety, and policy adherence while protecting company assets and reducing losses in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform cash register functions and generate reports.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist customers; operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees and training; conduct safety meetings; ensure policy adherence.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, restocking, and displays per planograms.
• Maintain accurate inventory by controlling damages and theft; handle reports/paperwork.
• Execute planograms and ensure merchandise presentation per Store Manager direction.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability; count tills; deposit funds.
