Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist with supervision of store employees, merchandising presentation, deposits, and paperwork under the Store Manager's direction.

You will perform stocking and cashiering duties, build merchandise displays, and help maximize profitability while protecting assets. Strong communication and math skills are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and scanner; follow loss prevention procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, displays, markdowns, inventory controls.
• Ensure financial integrity: cashier accountability, deposits, refunds and overrides.
