Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist with supervision, merchandise presentation, deposits, and paperwork, while handling stocking, cashiering and other duties to maximize profitability and minimize losses.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, safety meetings, planograms, inventory control, and supporting the Store Manager in their absence.

Formación

• Customer service leadership and supervision experience.
• Ability to operate a cash register and scanner.
• Experience with inventory control, receiving, stocking and planograms.
• Familiarity with cash handling, deposits and refunds.
• Attention to detail in merchandising and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings for staff.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, restocking and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, control damages and markdowns.
• Assist in planogram implementation and merchandising presentation.
• Ensure cashier accountability and cash control procedures;Deposit money.
• Support Store Manager in store operations during absence.
