Job summary

Mud Bay is seeking Store Staff in Portland, OR. This part-time role offers a base pay around the entry point of the range and requires flexible availability Thursday through Sunday.

You will assist customers with pet needs, perform POS transactions, maintain store presentation, and collaborate with a team across multiple neighborhoods including Happy Valley and Grand Park Village. Ideal candidates are 18+, able to lift 45 pounds, with basic math and computer skills, and a passion for helping

Responsibilities

• Provides a happy, educational, and fun experience for store visitors.

• Performs POS transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening/closing registers.
• Opens and closes the store and registers as a keyholder.
• Maintains cleanliness and attractiveness of the sales and support areas.
• Maintains inventory including receiving, rotating, restocking and facing.
• Attends monthly store meetings and participates in team learning.
• Willing to work at additional locations as needed.

Description

Mud Bay’s Store Staff are the heart of Mud Bay. They are flexible, friendly, and focused on providing an outstanding experience to everyone who walks through our doors.

Competitive base pay: The target starting pay for this position will be at the entry point of the range, at $21.32.

The pay range of $21.32 to $24.52 per hour allows our employees room for growth through annual increases and promotion potential.

When you'd work: This is a part-time position, with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of 18 hours per week. Flexible availability is needed for Thursday‑Sunday. Shifts will vary, but can typically look like: Sunday 2:45pm-7:15pm, Friday 1:45 pm-7:45 pm, Thursday 3:45 pm- 7:45 pm (Rover shift), Saturday 3:15 pm-7:15 pm (Rover shift). Candidate needs to be available to regularly assist at additional locations: Happy Valley, Grant Park Village, Concordia, Glisan, and Williams. Team members are required to attend a once a month store meeting.

• Is able to work in multiple locations in addition to their home store, preferably three

Required Skills:
