Job summary

Mud Bay Inc. Beaverton store is hiring a Store Staff Member to deliver an outstanding experience for dogs and cats. You’ll engage customers, assist with purchases, and keep the sales floor welcoming and organized.

This is a part-time role with ~15 hours/week, mainly closing shifts Thu/Fri/Sat and occasional cross-location coverage. Starting pay is $21.32/hour, with a range to $24.52, and potential for raises and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Competent with basic math, comfortable using computers, calculators, and 10-keys.
• Has a passion to continuously learn about dogs, cats and small animals.
• Instinctively gracious and customer-focused.
• Highly accountable and trustworthy.
• Uses good judgment and acts ethically.
• A self-starter, but willing to take direction and learn from others.

Mud Bay’s Store Staff Members are the heart of Mud Bay. They are flexible, friendly, and focused on providing everyone who walks through our doors an outstanding experience.

Competitive base pay: The target starting pay for this position will be at the entry point of the range, at $21.32.

The pay range of $21.32 to $24.52 per hour allows our employees room for growth through annual increases and promotion potential.

When you'd work: This is a part-time position, with a Good Faith Estimate of 15 hours per week (60 hours per month). Need availability Thursday/Friday/Saturday closing shifts. This position will typically work 2-3 days a week, Shifts will vary, but can typically look like: Thursday - 100-745 /Friday - 345-745 /Saturday - 315-715 - all closing shifts and needs to be able to help at neighboring locations such as Greenway, Garden Home, Timberland and Tanasbourne.
