Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Competent with basic math, comfortable using computers, calculators, and 10-keys.
• Passion to continuously learn about dogs, cats and small animals.

• Uses good judgment to act in the best interest of customers and the business.

Responsibilities

• Provide a happy, educational, and fun experience for all who visit Mud Bay stores.
• Engage dog and cat owners, connect personally, and help them find solutions for pets.
• Contribute to sales growth by offering holistic solutions for long-term pet health.
• Perform transactions at the point of sale, including opening/closing registers.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and attractiveness of the sales and support areas.
• Manage inventory: receiving, rotating, restocking, and facing.
• Support team learning and growth with feedback and open communication.
• Open/close the store and registers; handle a variety of shifts; may work at multiple locations.

Mud Bay’s Store Staff are the heart of Mud Bay. They are flexible, friendly, and focused on providing an outstanding experience to everyone who walks through our doors.

Competitive base pay: The target starting pay for this position will be at the entry point of the range, at $18.63.

The pay range of $18.63 to $21.42 per hour allows our employees room for growth through annual increases and promotion potential.

When you'd work: This is a Full-time position, with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of 32 hours per week. Typical shifts will be open availability as it is FT and the store needs flexibility Store meetings are typically on Saturday but can vary

• Performs keyholder responsibilities, such as opening and closing the store, and opening and closing registers
• Is comfortable with retail scheduling, including a variety of shifts
• Is able to work in multiple locations in addition to their home store, preferably three
