Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Key Carrier to join our store team. This elevated role blends responsibility with growth, as you alternate between Coordinator and Key Carrier duties to lead store operations and deliver exceptional customer service.

Open availability including nights and weekends is required. You will model outstanding service, coach Associates, manage coverage, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while supporting leadership in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience, 6 months leadership experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to respond to changes and coach Associates.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality
• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides coaching to Associates
• Exhibits discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage for a positive customer experience
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates priorities and progress with management and Associates
• Provides feedback and coaching to Associates
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs
• Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
