Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Strongsville, OH is seeking a Key Carrier to support store operations, lead as needed, and maintain exceptional customer service. This role alternates with the Coordinator role and requires open availability, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

At least 1 year in retail
6 months leadership experience
Ability to coach, delegate and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
Provides coaching to Associates and feedback to management
Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
Promotes credit and loyalty programs
Other duties as assigned
