Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable lead/retail associate to help open and close the store in the absence of management. You will handle cash, assist customers, stock, and ensure the floor and back room are ready for the business day.

You will train and coach team members, support inventory control, pricing, and store upkeep while delivering a distinctive customer experience. The role offers hourly pay between $17 and $20.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Arrest and conviction records may be considered in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness for business.
• Completes returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change as needed.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers, resolves issues, and shares service best practices with the team.
• Maintains accurate inventory, pricing, and signage; assists with backroom and stock.
• Assists with vendor deliveries, displays, and basic store maintenance.
• Serves as a liaison between management and team when leadership is not present.
