Job summary

Walgreens in Topsham, ME is seeking a responsible leader to run the store when management is not present. You will handle opening/closing duties, cash handling, and ensure the floor and stockroom are ready for the business day.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness for the business day.
• Completes product returns, refunds, and cash handling per policy; maintains accurate cash registers and price verifications.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers, answers questions, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains store inventory, pricing, and backroom organization; supports displays and resets.
• Coaches team members on store operations and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Performs basic bookkeeping activities and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
