Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable team member to support the customer experience and store operations in Illinois. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with products and services, and resolving issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.

You will also handle opening/closing duties, cash handling, and inventory accuracy to maintain daily store performance. Ideal candidates have at least one year of leadership or supervisory experience, strong English skills, and may need PTCB

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy licence as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including all required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains inventory accuracy, pricing compliance, and display standards; supports backroom and vendor processes.
