Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Retail Associate to support store operations in the absence of management. The role emphasizes opening/closing the store, handling cash, processing returns and refunds, and ensuring floor readiness for the day.

You will engage customers and deliver Walgreens service traits to create a memorable shopping experience. Responsibilities also include inventory accuracy, displaying promotions, and assisting with vendor deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management and ensure floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure pricing and displays are correct consistent with policy.
