Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations.

This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities for advancement in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the ledger.
• Process returns accurately and guide customers through refunds and exchanges.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, locking procedures, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
