Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) may be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and ensure policy adherence.
• Answer telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently with the electronic ledger.
• Process retail returns and exchanges and issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Invoice merchandise before it leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Delegate Zipline messaging and merchandising tasks to team members.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules, with deviations approved by management.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, secure deposits, and verify security.
