Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Minnesota is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and operate store functions. You will lead customer service efforts, supervise showroom service levels, and manage daily tasks including phone handling and shipment processing.

The role requires strong communication skills and RSS certification readiness, with desirable auto parts sales experience and ASE certification.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts is desirable.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is desirable.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Oversee customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution.
• Respond to phone inquiries following company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers in a timely manner and notify customers of shipments.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed accurately and refunds issued properly.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
