Job summary

Family Dollar in Battle Creek, Michigan is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to greet customers, assist with merchandise and locations, and efficiently complete sales transactions. You will support store operations, inventory, deliveries, and replenishment, and help with opening/closing when needed.

The role emphasizes a friendly, proactive approach, accurate cash handling, and teamwork. Part-time position with a focus on flexible hours, lifting up to 40–55 lbs, and maintaining store

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments.
• Availability: Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection and location, and complete sales transactions.
• Assist Store Manager with daily activities, inventory, deliveries and replenishment, and store cleanliness.
• Open/close duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, and provide operational assistance to cashiers.
• Unloading merchandise, stocking shelves, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
• Support asset protection and maintain a positive store image toward customers and the community.
• Complete all Position Based Training timely and follow company policies and procedures.
