Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Michigan LLC in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store clean and stocked.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, replenishing shelves, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment while interacting with customers and teammates. Prior retail/customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, trash removed, and areas neat and presentable.
