Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Michigan LLC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience at a Wayland, MI store. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and organized.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Part-time schedule with store-wide responsibilities and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain safety and security of cash and store assets.
• Keep the store stocked and merchandise replenished.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
