Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Michigan LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock merchandise, and help keep the store clean and safe.

The role requires strong customer service, good communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Part-time position with opportunities for growth in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform stocking tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions.
• Maintain the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
