Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead in the United States to mitigate theft and fraud in high shortage areas while maintaining a safe store environment.

You will work with store and field leadership to train associates, report incidents, and promote shortage education across the team. The role requires engaging with customers and associates with a strong command presence, following security protocols, and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Provide an effective deterrent to dishonest behaviors throughout the store by demonstrating a command presence
• Maintain a safe and secure store for our customers and associates with attention to detail
• Engage with customers and associates in high-risk areas to promote best-in-class service
• Gather and document indicators of external theft and report to store/field leaders
• Assist in onboarding and ongoing training of shortage reduction programs for associates
• Support store leadership in planning and executing inventory processes and action plans
