Job summary

Ross Stores is hiring a Loss Prevention Specialist to protect associates and customers by maintaining a safe and secure store environment. The role emphasizes a visible presence at entrances, customer interaction, and compliance with loss prevention directives.

Key responsibilities include preventing theft, supporting store leadership, and minimizing operational shortage while upholding the Ross brand and standards.

Qualifications

• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Excellent Customer service skills.
• Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.
• Must be able to comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations for security positions, including but not limited to, additional background screening, physical examination, fingerprinting and/or drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining Safe & Secure Environment: safety is the priority, assist Store Leadership in safety and security.
• Provides visible presence at store entrances/exits and on sales floor.
• Removes clutter and ensures safe egress to emergency exits.
