Job summary

Dr. Martens in Oak Brook, IL seeks a confident store leader to grow with our Americas team. You will supervise the sales floor, drive exceptional customer service, coach staff, and help achieve daily and KPI goals while upholding the brand standards.

You will train new staff, manage opening/closing, balance tills, stock, and merchandising in line with Brand Marketing guidelines. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and a strong connection to the Dr. Martens heritage.

Qualifications

• 1+ year supervisory experience within footwear or retail preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and retail systems; MPOS exp is a plus.
• Strong math skills and ability to communicate clearly to customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor and drive exceptional customer service.
• Coach and train store staff on duties and product knowledge.
• Communicate store results to business partners and manage KPIs.
• Oversee opening/closing, cash handling, and bank deposits.
• Assist with stock reception, merchandising, and inventory accuracy.
