Living Spaces Furniture in Southern California seeks a Sales Manager to train in La Mirada and then lead their home store. The role requires a 4-wall holistic approach to business, with a focus on guest engagement, coaching, and achieving targets.

The position oversees staffing, training, and performance management, while driving SOPs and retail processes to deliver outstanding guest experiences and strong financial results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, design, retail management, sales, merchandising, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in direct customer interactive environment; high volume.
• 3 years of management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store team is fully staffed with the right talent to meet work expectations and optimize coverage.
• Ensure training completion and ability to execute to company standards.
• Recruit, lead and develop team members and foster a culture of high performance.
• Lead Supervisors to execute the Guest Engagement Model through daily coaching.
• Own the sales floor and financial outcomes through standard work.
• Actively engage team members and guests to assess the Guest Engagement Model.
• Handle escalated guest situations and resolutions.
• Identify gaps using scorecards and create business plans for people and process.
• Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable for performance; mentor and lead by example.
• Conduct ongoing talent conversations to build store bench strength.
• Open and close the store as needed, including security and alarms.
• Drive energy on the floor and maintain in-the-moment conversations.
• Perform store leadership to engage guests through the buying journey.
• Drive results by focusing on SOPs and retail processes.
• Collaborate on training material development, facilitate feedback, and improve onboarding experiences for new team members.
