Living Spaces Furniture in Southern California seeks a Sales Manager to lead store departments and exceed targets by executing our guest engagement model. The role trains in La Mirada before returning to the home store to lead.

The position emphasizes coaching, staffing, performance management, and a holistic 4-wall approach to operations. A strong focus on guest satisfaction and staff development is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, design, retail management, sales, merchandising, or related field preferred
• 5 years' experience in direct customer interactive environment required; high volume
• 3 years of management experience required

Responsibilities

• Ensure store staffing meets the needs and optimize coverage
• Ensure training completion and ability to execute company expectations
• Recruit, lead and develop team members and foster a high-performance culture
• Lead Supervisors to execute the Guest Engagement Model through coaching
• Own the sales floor and manage financial outcomes via SOP execution
• Engage team and guests to assess engagement with Living Spaces model
• Handle escalated guest situations and resolutions
• Identify gaps using scorecards and create improvement plans
• Set clear expectations and coach for performance
• Conduct talent conversations to build a store leadership bench
• Open/close store and secure premises
• Generate energy and drive in-the-moment conversations
• Ensure guests are engaged through the buying journey
• Drive results around SOPs and retail processes
• Collaborate on training material and onboarding to improve retention
