Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Saint Petersburg, FL seeks a FT Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team and champion a customer-focused selling culture.

You will drive sales results, oversee front-end operations, and ensure brand standards across SOPs and programs. Responsibilities include coaching associates, delivering exceptional in-store service, managing POS systems, and coordinating events and programs like loyalty rewards and in-store services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and operations continuity.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations and customer support.
• Promote and enroll customers in Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention.
• Champion MCC/Extend services and protection plans for customers.
• Drive sales and omni-channel service in Knit & Sew Shop; oversee Cut Bar experience.
• Support framing operations and in-store events; train and develop team members.
