The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Sales Manager in the DEN-SUPERIOR, CO area to lead a high-performance selling culture and deliver strong sales and service results.

You will supervise front-end and service operations, coach teams on brand standards, and ensure SOP adherence across daily tasks. Responsibilities include driving omni-channel services, managing POS and Self-Checkout, and enabling events and programs like BOPIS, Loyalty, and Knit & Sew Shop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading front-end and service operations in a large store.
• Strong coaching and customer-focused leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store.
• Drive sales results and engaging customer experience.
• Oversee front-end, service operations, and SOP compliance.
• Coach team on selling behaviors and brand standards.
• Provide MOD coverage and ensure omni-channel service.
• Promote loyalty programs and drive customer retention.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Oversee events and shop programs (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop).
• Train and develop team members and maintain asset protection.
