Job summary

The J.Jill Group is seeking a Sales Lead to support store leadership in driving sales and team development. You will foster genuine customer connections, provide styling recommendations, and contribute to achieving sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will act as a role model, training and coaching team members while maintaining deep product knowledge and ensuring a high-quality shopping experience for our customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience in women’s specialty retail or customer-focused environment.
• Passion for customer service and building meaningful relationships.
• Strong ability to support, inspire, and motivate a team.
• Proven track record of contributing to sales and customer engagement.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through genuine interactions and community engagement.
• Assist in training and developing team members, coaching and supporting store success.
• Identify customer needs, provide personalized styling, and help achieve sales targets.
• Maintain deep knowledge of J.Jill products to guide confident purchases.
• Assist with store operations: opening/closing, management on duty, merchandising, floor sets, inventory, and policy adherence.
• Own assigned responsibilities, address challenges with a solution-minded approach, support leadership.
• Adapt messaging across different audiences and communication settings within the organization.
• Perform additional responsibilities to help the store be successful.
