Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager at PORT CHESTER, NY to lead store operations, drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will coach the team, oversee POS systems, and manage in-store programs and events.

Responsibilities include training staff, ensuring SOP compliance, and maintaining asset protection while supporting omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

• Experience enforcing SOPs and company programs

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and service standards across front-end, sales and POS systems.
• Coach and model customer experience and selling behaviors to improve conversion.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service continuity.
• Oversee in-store events and programs (Balloons, Birthday parties, Knit & Sew Shop).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards and protection plans to boost retention and add-ons.
• Ensure accurate BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution; support framing ops where needed.
• Train, coach and onboard team members; uphold Asset Protection practices.
