Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Allentown-Whitehall, PA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving sales results and a superior customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensure brand standards and SOPs are followed, and coach the team to deliver consistent selling behaviors.

As MOD, you will provide floor leadership, manage POS operations, support BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to coach customer-focused selling behaviors.
• Experience managing front-end operations and store standards.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop team members.
• Comfort with night/weekend/early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead adherence to SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance.
• Model customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and ensure floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout to support smooth transactions.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program and protect asset programs.
• Drive omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team across departments.
• Maintain asset protection practices and reduce shrink.
