Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager-in-Training role in Michigan to lead a team, ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience, and drive sales through effective merchandising and staff development.

You will oversee daily operations, train associates, and maintain high standards of customer service while managing opening/closing procedures and safety protocols in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers and training crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively and deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
