Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dedicated Receiving/Accounting professional to manage product receipt, verification, and documentation. You will support inventory and period-close processes, ensuring accuracy of invoices and purchase orders while maintaining high standards of customer and Team Member service.

The role emphasizes compliance with health, safety, and quality guidelines, strong attention to detail, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Experience in a distribution or receiving environment preferred.
• Knowledge of store receiving and accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Verify actual product against Purchase Orders and/or supplier paperwork.
• Confirm product integrity and check temperatures as needed.
• Process and file invoices; stamp and initial as required.
• Close purchase orders in the store purchasing application accurately.
• Adhere to receiving standards and store process guidelines.
• Coordinate with vendors on accounts payable and distribute paperwork to teams.
• Support product teams with accounting during inventory and period close.
