Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Receiving/Accounting/Distribution teammate in union-area New Jersey. You will verify POs against supplier paperwork, ensure product integrity, and process invoices timely.

The role requires maintaining equipment, supporting inventory close, and coordinating with vendors with a focus on safety and accuracy. The position demands strong teamwork, excellent communication, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• 12+ months distribution/receiving environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify actual product against Purchase Orders and/or supplier paperwork.
• Confirm product integrity.
• Check product temperatures as needed.
• Stamp, initials, process, and file invoices.
• Distribute invoice copies to appropriate teams when applicable.
• Follow Whole Foods Market Correct Pay Procedures.
• Close purchase orders in the store purchasing application.
• Adhere to receiving standards as outlined in Store Process.
• Distribute processed paperwork to Team mailboxes and regional office.
• Follow up with vendors regarding accounts payable.
• Support product Teams with accounting during inventory and period close.
• Distribute store expense invoices to Store Leadership.
• Maintain baler, compactor, and environmental areas in proper order; tie bales; call for pickup; direct service team to areas needing attention.
• Arrive on time, be groomed, dressed, and ready to work; attend required trainings and meetings.
