Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe and secure store environment and deter theft. You will patrol entrances, monitor floor activity, and partner with Store Leadership to minimize shortages while delivering excellent customer service.

You will need strong communication and conflict resolution skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting. This on-site role supports our values and team success.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• One year retail supervisor experience preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence at store entrances/exits to deter theft.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and coordinate with Store Leadership.
• Provide courteous greetings and professional conduct with customers and associates.
• Support loss prevention initiatives and adherence to policies.
• Assist in safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
