Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a visible presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor, deterring theft and ensuring a safe environment for associates and customers.

You will monitor for suspicious activity, participate in adherence to Code 50 inspections, and partner with store leadership to minimize shortages and execute company best practices.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Strong communication skills and customer service focus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
• Monitor for theft indicators and detain or report as directed by leadership.
• Assist Store Leadership to ensure Loss Prevention directives are followed.
