Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Security Specialist to provide a visible presence at store entrances/exits, mitigate theft, and maintain a safe environment for associates and customers.

You will greet customers, monitor Code 50 inspections, and work with Store Leadership to minimize shortages. The role requires standing and walking, building relationships with store teams, and enforcing loss prevention best practices.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for associates and customers.
• Provides visible command presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
• Removes clutter and ensures safe egress to emergency exits.
• Gathers theft indicators and communicates with Store Leadership and Loss Prevention.
• Other duties as assigned to support Loss Prevention initiatives.
