Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe and secure store environment. You will greet customers with courtesy, monitor entrances, and assist leadership in minimizing shortages.

The role requires strong communication, excellent customer service, and the ability to resolve conflicts in a fast-paced retail setting. Prior loss prevention or security training is preferred with a valid Security Guard License.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.
• Must comply with all applicable laws and background screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides visible security presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
• Monitors for safety issues and assists Store Leadership in maintaining a secure environment.
• Gathers theft indicators and communicates with Loss Prevention Leadership.
• Involves in training Associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
• Represents the Ross brand with professional appearance and conduct.
