Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the store and pharmacy, driving sales and delivering a distinctive customer experience. You will supervise staff, manage merchandising, inventory, and finances while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail management experience, pharmacy tech registration as needed, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Employment eligibility applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician registration as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversees store and pharmacy operations including opening/closing and shift management.
• Manages cash handling, banking, and bookkeeping duties.
• Plans merchandising and promotional displays to drive sales.
• Monitors inventory, orders stock, and mitigates shrink.
• Develops staff through hiring, training, and performance coaching.
• Ensures compliance with policies and laws; engages with Employee Relations and HR as appropriate.
