Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to oversee the operation of a Walgreens store, driving sales, profitability and a distinctive customer and patient experience through merchandising, asset protection, and team development.

Responsibilities include supervising store and pharmacy operations, staffing, inventory management, financial performance, training, and ensuring compliance with laws. The role requires multi-faceted leadership and a commitment to exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh, as soon as possible given state requirements, no later than 12 months from Store Manager position start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and analyzes customer service, provides coaching and action plans for improvement in retail and pharmacy.
• Greets customers and patients, assisting with products and services.
• Supervises store and pharmacy operations, staffing, merchandising, and scheduling.
• Analyzes financial and performance data to increase sales and control costs.
• Manages inventory and process improvements to avoid outs and overstock.
• Ensures compliance with laws and company policies; oversees training and development.
