Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead both store and pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will drive sales, protect assets, supervise staff, and ensure a distinctive customer and patient experience.

You will oversee merchandising, inventory, scheduling, and performance management while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $120,000 depending on geography and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician as required by state OR pharmacy assistant in WA state OR licensed RPh as soon as possible given state law requirements.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises operation of the store and pharmacy, including opening/closing/changing shifts, task delegation and scheduling team members.
• Supervises merchandising by planning and implementing sets and resets and revisions of basic department and end stands, display tables, and promotional space.
• Analyzes inventory trends and supervises inventory management, including ordering items and stock control.
• Executes staff hiring, training, and performance management; ensures compliance with policies and laws.
