Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to lead both retail and pharmacy operations at a designated location. You will supervise opening/closing, schedule staff, manage merchandising and inventory, and drive exceptional customer and patient experiences.

You will analyze financial performance, set goals, and ensure compliance with policies while developing the team and maintaining a high standard of service across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or high school diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Pharmacy technician registration/licensure as required by state.
• Licensed pharmacy technician or pharmacy assistant as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Oversees store and pharmacy operations, including opening/closing, shift scheduling and task delegation.
• Monitors customer service and provides coaching to improve performance in retail and pharmacy.
• Maintains store merchandising, inventory management and loss prevention measures.
• Analyzes financial and performance data to increase sales and control costs.
• Develops employee performance plans and ensures training compliance.
• Ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies.
