Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing associates to achieve customer service and business goals.
• Experience using KPIs and data insights to inform decisions and opportunities.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence store performance.
• Knowledge of fast-paced retail operations and labor/budget management.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience.
• Lead merchandising/operating initiatives with department heads and teams.
• Communicate results and action plans from Associate Insight surveys to staff.
• Identify opportunities with store teams and implement timely solutions.
• Model exceptional customer service and resolve issues for customers and associates.
• Oversee total store operations in the store manager’s absence.
• Work to achieve sales, wage, and profit budgets, plus safety and shrink targets.
• Drive sales with department managers to maximize sales and reduce shrink.
