Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Manager in organizing work, staffing and training associates.
• Respond to customer or associate comments, complaints, and questions in a professional manner.
• Use CAO to manage ordering and balance on hand in the Department Manager’s absence.
• Price, display, signage, rotation and space allocation for merchandise.
• Engage in effective merchandising techniques and promotional activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, dress code, sanitation and harassment-free environment.
• Provide input on department budgets, goals and results.
• Communicate with associates and customers to foster a positive impression.
• Maintain equipment, facilities and sanitary standards.
• Promote company initiatives and process improvements to staff.
• Demonstrate ability to manage workloads and lead the team.
