Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking a Store Operations Specialist to lead and train teams in freight functions, including unloading, processing, stocking, and resets. The SOS will oversee freight processing, stocking, and merchandising responsibilities, train team members, and uphold policy-compliant cashier duties. Open availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., team lift 100 lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Demonstrates urgency and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provides customers a positive shopping experience.
• Performs cashier duties accurately while processing all transactions per policy.
• Maintains 5S standards in receiving.
• Leads team in performing all freight functions including stocking and resets.
• Unload, process, and stock freight to correct location following merchandising guidelines.
• Timely and thorough incident reporting compliance.
• Performs store recovery tasks and housekeeping during stocking efforts.
• Performs and trains team on store freight processing and merchandising responsibilities.
• Operates equipment safely per directed procedures.
• Ensures a safe working and shopping environment while minimizing shrink and damages.
• Executes company directives, policies and procedures timely, accurately, and thoroughly.
