Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead to help deliver an outstanding shopping experience. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will assist with front end operations, cash handling, merchandising, cleanliness, safety, and drive sales while covering a manager on duty.

This temporary role offers leadership exposure during peak seasons or while a manager is away, with responsibilities including opening/closing the store, training associates, and supporting daily store activities to meet goals.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew wow customers through personal contact and service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and maintains customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for floor placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, and ensures smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
